01 · What a session looks like

Runs. Looks. Explores.
Comes back to you.

Every dog experiences the session in their own way. They may run, stop or keep exploring without looking at the camera. I follow their pace. Those natural moments do not interrupt the session: they are the session.

02 · How I work

Before the session, I want to know what your dog is like: what they enjoy, what frightens them and what helps them feel comfortable. That lets us shape the session around them and choose the right setting.

On the day, there is no clock-watching and no rush to make the photographs. While the light stays with us, your dog has time to settle in and the whole family can enjoy the experience.

Photographing dogs
also means understanding them.

I live with three dogs and have competed internationally with them. That experience taught me the importance of observing them and understanding what they need at any given moment.

Before dedicating myself fully to XR Fotografía, I spent more than twenty years working in the audiovisual sector and took part in international film, television, VFX and museum projects. Today I bring all of that experience, and the same exacting standards, to every session.

Step by step

How it works

  1. 01

    Send me a message

Tell me what your dog is like, what you enjoy doing together and the kind of photographs you have in mind.

  2. 02

We choose a date and place

I suggest a time and location based on the light and what your dog needs.

  3. 03

    We meet for the photographs

There is no rush. We walk, play and take as many breaks as needed.

  4. 04

    You choose your favourites

I send you a private gallery so you can make your selection in your own time.

Common questions

Before you book

My dog never stays still. Is that a problem?

Not at all. They do not need to sit or look at the camera. We can begin with a walk or a game: the way they naturally move and connect is part of the photographs.

Where do we take the photographs?

It depends on your dog and the photographs you want. I will suggest a few locations and, if home is better for them, we can work there too.

Can I be in the photographs too?

Of course. In fact, the photographs that matter most are often the ones that reflect the bond you share.

What if it rains?

If the weather is not right, we move the session to another date. I would rather wait until the conditions work for us.

How long is a session?

There is no fixed duration and we never work against the clock. We take the time your dog and your family need to feel at ease, for as long as the natural light allows us to keep photographing.
